Taking Photos At Wilsons Promontory

Wilsons Promontory -

What a magnificent place to take photos – at any time of the year.

The landscape is incredibly diverse in this popular Australian National Park on the south eastern tip of the country…and the native wildlife is abundant…so taking a snap or two of a wallaby, emu, wombat or kangaroo is a simple task.

Late afternoon and evening are my favourite times here…when the sun is getting low on the horizon, it’s easy to stop anywhere in the parkland, grab your digital camera and find an interesting feature to place in the foreground of your photograph…just like the plants here on Cotters Beach.

When the sun sets over the water in the background, silhouetting the native flora, there’s only a short window of time before it gets too late and you miss the right moment.

Ahhh, but there’s always next time!
