View Of Waratah Bay From Walkerville South

Waratah Bay At Dusk - the lilac lagoon

The beaches in Australia have a great reputation for their white sand, peaceful surroundings and clean, clear water…that’s something we probably take for granted.

I’ve seen pictures of polluted beaches, oil spills and the ones in highly populated tend to lose their natural charm with human intervention.

The area at Walkerville South is on the South Eastern tip of Australia, with a very small population of permanent residents and historic features that make exploring the area even more delightful.

To find out what I’m talking about, go to http://south-gippsland.com/walkerville.htm and take a look at some more magical photographs…who knows, you might even want to visit and stay at one of the remote luxury retreats or a cute Bed & Breakfast lodge…now doesn’t that sound tempting?
