There are only a few country towns left in Australia that have kept their traditional historical heritage alive as well as Yarram has done.
The old Court House has just been salvaged from developers and turned into an Art Gallery, still retaining the original judges chair and other artifacts.
Yarram is a fairly sleepy town though. Its’ distance from the city keeps it isolated from the advancements and progress usually associated with larger regional areas.
But the Yarram Golf Club has a reputation for having smooth greens and friendly patrons and the architecture is wonderful…But take a look or yourself at http://south-gippsland.com/yarram.htm…then tell me what you think!
