Yanakie in Victoria, Australia, is the closest town to the popular Wilsons Promontory. Most of the year, the grass is lush and green and provides wonderful fertile feed for the numerous dairy farms in the area.
Today the cattle are grazing, but happily come close in case we have some extra feed for them.
The township of Yanakie is very small, but the general store there supplies petrol and a good range of produce.
The real estate varies from very cheap, to very expensive, depending on the type of views the property has. Most can see the tranquil waters of Corner Inlet and the towering mountains of Wilsons Promontory.
