The Old Scare Crow

Many gardeners in South Gippsland use organic or permaculture methods to grow vegetables, flowers, fruit tress and ornamentals. I really enjoy taking the time to go on “open garden tours”. This fabulous hand made scare crow was found at The Dale between Alberton, Yarram and Port Albert.

Their vegetable garden was lush and productive and mulching, companion planting and composting were evidently prime reasons for the owners gardening success.
