It shows the delightfully colourful array of potted Australian Wild Flowers, this wholesale business supplies right around the country. The metal trolley in the centre of the pathway adds a focal point and combines well with the straight rows of red kangaroo paw in the background.
This happy little fishing village between Foster and Port Welshpool is a haven for people to moor their own boats, join in on fishing trips and even go for a peaceful walk along the well constructed boadwalks around the marsh land and water way.
So convenient to Wilsons Prom, the open ocean and corner inlet coastal park, I know of several people from Melbourne who leave their boats here and use them on weekends when they visit this magnificent area.
Inverloch is not only a beautiful town to visit but a popular surfing spot on the coast as well. The RACV chose this location to build its 5 star eco friendly accommodation resort.
The surfers in these photographs taken at Bunurong Coastal Park, really looked like they were enjoying their time. While some of the areas are quite rocky, the sandy beaches are perfectly clean, easy to access and a haven for many birds and wildlife.
Inverloch – A truly delightful place to visit, have a bite to eat at one of the boutique-style cafes, (I really like the Tsunami Cafe for their gluten free menu), shop for antiques, home furnishings and clothing, take a drive to the Bunurong Coastal Park, stay at one of the luxury accommodation places or at the RACV Resort, or simply relax on the beach at Anderson Inlet.
Inverloch make a great 2 hour day trip from Melbourne and can be accessed from either the Bass Highway or from the South Gippsland Highway (turn right at Korumburra or Leongatha). Good family environment with a shell museum, boating facilities, excellent fishing spots, safe swimming and have fun exploring the many rock pools.
