The native flora growing in coastal areas of South Gippsland, Australia, is something quite special. This one was found at Cape Liptrap Coastal Park where the winds are high and the rain storms can be vicious.
You’ll see more great photographs of Cape Liptrap Coastal Park along with some information about the area and the lighthouse that towers over the rugged landscape.
I found several of these bright fluorescent coloured Australian Native flowers, on a bush walking track at Mount Nicoll (which is between Foster, Yanakie and Fish Creek) in South Gippsland.
Along with other native correa flowers and colourful rocky outcrops, were a variety of eucalyptus pods and grass trees (Xanthorea species).
